Wheeler Dealers inspiration

Mike Brewer and Edd China, the canny car trader and the mechanical maestro behind Wheeler Dealers, the UK TV show, started his career together with a Porsche 924 purchased on £700 and sold for £1,500, with a profit of £490 after investing £410 in restoration. The episode was aired October 7, 2003. In Truly Engines we have started following their footsteps with the restoring and selling of a Seat Córdoba for aproximately £1,227 and obtaining a profit of £327 which we are currently using in our second vehicle in the garage – a Renault Mègane Scenic. After 10 series and 117 episodes, the two magicians managing Wheeler Dealers have bought and redone some beauties, including: a Triumph Stag, Jensen Interceptor, MGB GT, Lancia Delta Integrale, BMW M3, Ferrari 308 GT and Lotus Elan. At the moment, we are learning from them and looking forward to see the premiere of their 11st series, on March 17, 2014. Who knows? Probably one day we will visit them for advice in our own TV show. However we should improve our English before.
